**JOB DESCRIPTION**Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Designer will be responsible for:- Develop and prepare models and engineering drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specifications and other data; - Consult with customers, engineers or production specialists to establish product requirements; - Conduct research on costs, properties of production materials and production methods; - Prepare design concepts, sketches or models for approval; - Prepare manufacturing plans, specifications and production guidelines to build a prototype of the design; - Consult engineers and production personnel during the manufacturing phase; - Prepare estimates of costs and materials required to manufacture products.
**Permanent job** - Full-time**You are the person we are looking for if you have the following skills & qualities**:- Degree in industrial design, mechanical engineering or civil engineering or any other relevant field or experience related to the job; - From 1 to 5 years of experience; - Knowledge of Autocad and Solidworks drawing software; - Knowledge of reading mechanical or architectural plans; - 3D visualization capability; - Practical sense in mechanics; - Knowledge of sheet metal processing; - Problem solving skills;- Knowledge of the MS Office suite- Have access to a reliable internet connection which is also essential.Resumes must be in English ONLY.
