Technical Director - Flavors Latam

The role of the Technical Director is as the Leader/Facilitator of the R&D Team and the Flavor Creation Team in Mexico and is responsible for the Technical support Sensient provides to all of our Food Industry customers and to the Sensient business. The person in this role will report to the LATAM General Manager.The Technical Director will also be responsible for working within the North America region to develop and promote based ingredients and systems that meet the needs of our regional affiliate partners.**Three of the main functions of this role are**:**1. Commercial**:The Technical Director and their teams are responsible for the Technical support and advice provided to both our Internal customers (Operations and Sales Teams) and, most importantly, to our External customers in various Food and Beverage industries. Much of Sensient's success is due to our ability to help customers innovate within their businesses, led by the R&D team's skill, knowledge and effort.The Technical Director with the Sales Team is responsible for ensuring that the teams focus on the most relevant commercial opportunities that are available or created. The expectation is to add significant growth opportunities to our company and customers.**3. Technical Skillset**:The Technical Director will bring to this role a broadly based technical skillset with appropriate experience in Product Application development, NPD (New Product Development) and with sufficient skills in our customer industries that they add significant technical expertise to the R&D team.
