We are looking for a talented TECHNICAL OPERATIONS GROUP LEADER to join our team specializing in ENGINEERING for our CUMMINS MOTORES in San Luis Potosí, SLP, México.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Provide support and guidance to influence technical direction within a project team. Operate as a recognized specialist in a discipline or product area within the immediate team. Coordinate and schedule activities within the robotics laboratory. Develop strategies for programming, implementing and validating material input (welding) processes. Manage and monitor technical personnel (workday times, payroll, overtime scheduling). Monitor robotic cell programming per project requirements. Ensure compliance with quality and process safety management systems (risk analysis, new process documentation, MOC). Define and manage priority change requisitions. Lead a small technical group of supervisors and/or technicians, allocating resources to meet customer needs. Provide feedback to project team members to accomplish tasks and goals. Work with internal customers to understand their needs and collaborate on problem solving. Apply strong knowledge of engineering principles and manage equipment in the specification, design and maintenance of the work environment. Provide independent leadership on projects with less business impact or complex components. Execute established and emerging processes and work systems, developing technology or product knowledge. Lead the development and improvement of work processes and systems in a functional discipline area. Coordinate and direct work between technicians and employees. To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Program industrial robots (Fanuc, Kuka) using offline programming and simulation software. Use and management of Outlook, Teams, Office package. Experience in simulating and validating robotic paths in a virtual environment to ensure robots meet design specifications. Experience in optimizing robot movements and duty cycles to maximize efficiency and reduce cycle times. Experience in generating and managing technical documentation related to robot programming. Basic project management knowledge. PMO Course and Certification (Desirable). Advanced English (Conversational and Written). Use and Handling of Robotmaster Software. Basic knowledge of welding processes (Desirable). • Certification or Master's degree in related areas - Desirable.
• Course and/or Certification in Project Management (PMO) - Desirable.
Experience Minimum 2-3 years experience in Mechatronics, Robotics, or similar technical areas, with a focus on automation and robotics projects.
