**Career Area**:Manufacturing & Supply Chain**:**Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to**:- Plans and implements most efficient and practical method and sequence of operations of new releases and revises methods in accordance with changes made to existing product- Considers present and projected burden, existing machine capabilities and conditions, and priorities to determine if existing machines will meet schedule requirements- Prepares or revises assembly work orders indicating method and sequence of assembly and equipment involved.- Prepares contracts with outside suppliers/contractors.- Analyzes alternatives and determines choice to pursue.- Discusses projects, gathers information through meetings with personnel in Planning & Technical Support, and recommends action.- Identifies areas for cost savings and/or quality improvements.- Works with department personnel to ensure dealer and internal complaints are resolved.- Coordinates resolution with areas concerned.- Assigns experimental machining operations to staff.- Monitors and investigates machine costs.- Maintains and updates a variety of planning records to provide planning data to others as requested.**Required Requirements**:- Industrial Engineer- Inglés 75% escrito, leído, hablado- 3 + years of experience technical knowledge, remanufacturing processes of ECM's- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to creatively solve very complex problems- Knowledge of reporting Tools.- Experience and knowledge of lean concepts and tools.- Value Stream current & future states- Work balance tools- OEE- MTBF, MTTR, PM - Efficiency data analysis**Desired Requirements**:- Knowledge of and / or experience deploying using 6 Sigma Project Management principles- Strategy deployment and execution- Drive capital investment projects for process improvements- Change agent, drive cultural changes.Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).Not ready to apply?
