The Brightcove product management team is looking for a strong Technical Product Manager to help transform and strengthen our platform, delivering best-in-class solutions to our customers. You will be expected to have working knowledge / experience of modern platform architecture and API design powering our OVP/OTT industry tools and solutions.
This role will be focused on building products, services and features that serve our entire customer base, prioritizing based on use cases, customer value, and business impact. On a daily basis, you will work closely with several highly skilled architecture and development teams relying heavily on your ability to communicate to drive collaboration across stakeholders.
**Responsibilities**:

- You'll gain a deep understanding of the problem to be solved, translating this into clear engineering and business deliverables. Taking full ownership from an Idea to Product delivery.
- Define the product strategy, roadmap, and business cases for your product area.

**Qualifications/Experience**

- 3+ years hands on technical product management experience.
- Strong experience working with large-scale B2C and B2B and/or B2B2C products.
- You have built products/services from scratch, taken them to market, and maintained successful adoption.
- You will be very familiar with agile methodologies and be comfortable working closely with engineering teams.
- You will be confident to make decisions or recommendations to unblock teams to ensure delivery stays on schedule.
- Ability to take technical details and present them in a non-technical, value driven format.
- Spearhead the continuous health of the platform including security, reliability and scalability.
- Understanding of a product lifecycle from early adoption to maturity and can determine when and how to extend product life versus end-of-life a product.
- Proven outstanding team collaboration including strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and turn feedback into accurately defined requirements that contribute to a robust platform - help expand the quality of our thinking.
- Passion for video technology and digital video; you want to be a part of the revolution that is taking place in redefining how digital video is consumed.
- Experience working with UX creators to define customer experiences.
- Comfortable working in a geographically distributed organization.
- Demonstrated experience interacting with all levels of management.
**Bonus, nice to have**:
- Experience in platform architecture transformation projects.
- Experience with video and audio content in an enterprise to increase awareness, drive adoption, share information and educate employees, partners, and other internal stakeholders.
- Experience working with marketing teams, video production teams, and other internal stakeholders related to curating, distributing, and measuring video content.
