The Technical Program Manager works closely with Product Management, developers, architects, and operations to define and prioritize features and stories, to ensure alignment with customer and program needs, and improve value of development. They should be able to handle multiple simultaneous projects that are complex or high-risk and be able to develop recovery strategies for projects that stray from their plan.
