Come and join us at Spectrum Effect.The Technical Project Manager acts as the bridge between product roadmap and customer commitments managed by Business Leaders and Customer PMs, and the software development team. The Technical Project Manager maintains the product backlog by taking input from POs and PMs. The backlog is refined as priorities change and new items are added. The Technical Project Manager ensures the software team is working on priority tasks and monitors work item progress through the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC). Progress and risk are monitored by the Technical Project Manager and communicated to Customer PMs and Business Leaders. The Technical Project Manager is involved with release planning, and works closely with the software development team through the Scrum sprint phases - sprint planning, daily stand ups, etc.**Responsibilities**- Maintains and prioritizes Software Product Backlog by working with Product Owners, Customer Project Managers and Technical Leads- Manages work items using a project management tool - Jira- Collaborates with POs and Business Leaders to plan product roadmap and product releases- Identifies work item interdependencies by reviewing product requirements with Technical Leads and Architects, and incorporates those dependencies when ordering the Software Backlog and release planning- Ensures software team focus on work items that meet customer commitments- Monitors development progress and escalates risk to POs and Customer PMs.- Works with software leads to identify, escalate, and resolve software development blockers- Drives development progress by contributing to sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives**Agile and Scrum background are a big plus.
