.M Chemical CompanyTechnical Sales ManagerReports to: Vice President of Sales and Business Unit ManagersResume must be in EnglishMust have a Bachelor Degree in Chemical area of studyJob Summary:The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for growing and maintaining current customer base, conducting technical meetings via zoom & in person with current and prospective customers.
Overall focus is to grow sales.
Expect to devote approximately 30% of time to current customers and 70% of time to securing new business.M Chemical will assist in obtaining visa permission to work and travel in the United States.Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Polymer Chemistry or related field, and equivalent training and experience in Technical Sales with a chemical company preferred.Ability to travel approximately 3 weeks a month:Senior Management team will determine geographically the best opportunities exist to secure new business.
This will determine travel locations.
Some examples are:United States: Northeast, Lower Midwest, Upper MidwestMexicoLatin America and South AmericaExperience in a Technical Sales role in the chemical industry preferredProven track record of achieving sales growthStrong desire to continually meet and exceed sales goalsStrong telephone skills in making cold calls, following through with warm leads - English and Spanish languagesA strong command of the English language and excellent conversational English is required.
(The Company will provide a class(es) on "English polishing" if needed).Ability to research and qualify potential new customersExperience working with Microsoft Office and (Chempax CRM ((Customer Resource Management)) experience a plus)Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyExceptional customer service skillsAs a Mexican based Employee: Ability to enter United States and Latin America.
(Canada, if travel on business can be attained will also be a consideration).
