This position is in Cargill's food ingredients and bio-industrial business, where we anticipate trends around taste, nutrition and safety to innovate and provide solutions to manufacturers, retailers and foodservice companies.Job Purpose and impactProvide technical support and identify potential existing solutions to answer the customer request and make recommendations on the development to be made based on our existing portfolioDetermine the requirements needed to achieve the solution like new raw material, new way of handling, new process, certification needed using the documentations made available from different functions.With direct supervision, support more complex projects and participate in customer briefing or debrief meetings ensuring smooth delivery process and updates on progress of projects.Support the technical services field specialist in the administrative daily routine (Item Creation in MyDQ) or procedural analytical work activities basis on business and technology needs, providing product development support.Work closely with technical services specialists to support the preparation of trainings and ensure the availability of samples for innovation events/shows and the related preparation of products.Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assigned QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Food Chemist/Food Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Biochemistry or equivalent experienceExperience in Fats & Oils desiredAbility to work in a geographically distributed matrix organizationOrganizational and analytical skillsExcellent knowledge of English Preferred QualificationsGood communication and prioritization skillsAbility to communicate and cooperate with cross-functional teams within the organizationGood interpersonal and teamwork skills (with the ability to work independently when necessaryFlexible, positive, pro-active, open-minded and result drivenStrong listening, communication skills and practical hands-on approach in problem solvingBasic project management skillsBasic customer facing experience
