You will be a leader for projects that help us work towards our aggressive company growth goals by launching new products using Donaldson's Accelerated Product Development (APD).Role Responsibilities :Takes a role to develop, establish, execute, and track APD strategy to ensure the best commercial conditions for the company.This position engages in product development, tool sourcing, part sourcing, item setup, supplier engagement, and part qualification process.Takes a role in representing North America APD roles, processes, and strategies at Donaldson Mexico locations.Participates as a key member on APD teams and represents the procurement function on major / platform APD project teams.Engages in the product / part development, supplier selection, part sourcing, price and contract negotiation, Item setup (Oracle System), and part qualification processes.Conceptualizes, develops, and implements procurement strategies for purchased components to support assigned APD projects and overarching procurement objectives.Provides guidance and leadership to APD project teams on supplier selection and parts sourcing activities.Executes focused negotiations that drive best total cost and ensure continuous supply for Donaldson with focus on utilizing Donaldson Strategic Suppliers wherever possible.Sets up and manages the Supplier Purchased Part Approval Process (SPPAP) for all purchased parts within APD programs and qualification levels of those parts.Evaluates SPPAP submissions for capability, control plan content, PFMEA RPM values and any corrective actions related to these.Minimum Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain, or another related field3 years of professional level experienceStrong data analytic skillsStrong negotiator who uses knowledge based and data driven negotiation techniques.Preferred Qualifications :Procurement or Supply Chain experienceProject management experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
