Classes may cover the use of multiple F5 products for complex business situations.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Responsible for upholding F5's Business Code of Ethics and promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.- Instruct students in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions. This involves setup and configuring necessary equipment and networks to support training courses.- Consults with customers and functional organization to develop specifications for the content of courses. This involves the customization of the standard curriculum to meet specific needs.- Conducts advanced training courses requiring expertise in two or more F5 product areas.- Prepares training materials from engineering documentation, field service requirements, or software documentation.- Partners with engineering, product development, and technical support to ensure that course material reflects current product features.- Responsible for testing and evaluating materials to ensure accuracy.- Designs and implements hardware and virtual training infrastructure for networking, support services, and storage.- Coordinate training curriculum and travel/lodging accommodations for onsite engagements.- Participate in the development of certification exams, including item development.- Develop and deliver Train the Trainer courses to global authorized training centers (ATC).- Support ATC activities such as knowledge transfer with the ATC instructors and assist in designing F5 training labs.- Perform other related duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES- Must have a minimum of 4 years of technical working knowledge of routers, switches, bridges, firewalls, and SSL VPN products.- Successful completion of formal training in adult education, instructional design, or communication desired.- Minimum of 4 years of technical knowledge of the function and format of TCP, IP, UDP, and DNS is required. This can be gained through working or educational experience.- Minimum of 4 years experience in UNIX, Linux, and Microsoft operating systems, including TCP/IP configuration.- Expert product knowledge in two or more F5 product areas (Access, Traffic Management, Security, Storage)- Ability to become certified as an F5 Professional Certification at the Solution Expert level.- Certification in Cisco and/or Microsoft products at a technical trainer level is a plus.- Excellent verbal and written skills are required, with the proven ability to deliver and communicate complex technical training successfully.- Experience creating technical training content and web-based training
