As a growing company, we are currently seeking a skilled Technical Translator to join our team. As a Technical Translator, you will be responsible for translating technical documents, manuals, and other materials from English to Spanish and vice versa in the engineering field. You will ensure accurate and precise translation while maintaining the technical content and context of the documents.
**Responsibilities**:
- Translate technical documents, manuals, specifications, and other materials from English to Spanish and vice versa.
- Ensure accurate translation that maintains the technical content and context of the documents.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical concepts and terminology.
- Proofread and edit translated materials for grammar, spelling, and consistency.
- Research and stay up-to-date with the latest industry-specific terminology and trends.
**Requirements**:
'- Proven experience as a technical translator, preferably in the engineering field
- Proficient in both English and Spanish (ideally French as well), with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of technical terminology and concepts in engineering
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate translations within deadlines
- Familiarity with translation software and tools is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
