Technical Writter

**What you will do**:
As a **_Technical Writer _**you maximize Johnson Controls team member effectiveness by ensuring they have the knowledge and information needed to perform their role.
You will create standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flows, and work instructions for assigned projects.
**How you will do it**:

- Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures, work instructions, process flows and other documents as assigned
- Collaborate remotely or face to face with stakeholders and SMEs to determine documentation needs.
- Take complex ideas and create something easy to follow.
- Comply with existing standards and conventions

**What we look for**:
**Required**:

- BS degree in technical writing, communications, Marketing, or related
- Proven experience working in a technical writing position for at least 4+ years
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize
- Lesson and curriculum planning skills
- Operational knowledge of MS Teams and Office: Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
- Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
