Technician - Electrical Hardware

Technician - Electrical Hardware**Job Duties**- Support electronics development projects- Prototype/assemble/test electronic controls and circuit boards- Build prototype samples for engineering evaluation- Perform thermal testing of electronic assemblies- Graph and provide basic analysis of test data- Document new test procedures; follow and report test plan results.- Utilize available resources effectively- Effectively communicate status of active programs**Job Requirements**- Associate Degree in Technical Field **preferred not required**:- 1-3 years' experience in Electronics Technician or related position required **(Includes any training)**:- Must have experience with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly- Must be able to read and interpret designs/schematics- Must be able to read schematics and troubleshoot problems- Must be proficient with multimeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes (digital/multi-channel)- Must have data analysis and graphing test data experience- Understanding of power tools, motor drives, controllers, and general mechanical principles a plus- Must have experience with surface mount soldering, electronics prototyping, and basic failure analysis- Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel spreadsheets- Excellent communication skills- Ability to self-delegate tasks from several Engineers
