Technician I/Ii

Provides technical support to front-line workforce and manufacturing engineers making products in an industrial environment. Works hands-on with manufacturing equipment and activities. Identifies and supports process improvements. Uses judgment, experience and initiative to resolve problems and make recommendations. May help determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
Support Quality Engineering on implementing and maintaining Quality systems to meet the requirements of production, ISO 9001 and TL 9000.Support Engineering in the Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns and Customer notifications received.Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen, lean methods, etc.Support training to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality alerts, etc.Monitor and report CTQ's performance in the processes (i.e. SPC).Support statistical analysis to engineering and production as related to quality issues.Develop and assurance of measurement systems thru the use of statistical tools (i.e. GR&R).Ability to execute process audit, prepare report.Qualifications: Industrial, mechanical or mechatronics technical degree or 2 years of labor experience as Industrial, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Engineering degree.
Years of Experience:2–4 years of experience in similar position.
Technical Skills:SPC Knowledge.Experience with problem solving tools.Excellent computer skills (Including, but not limited to: Windows, Office, Visio, Project Manager, SPC Excel, Minitab).Soft Skills:Work independently, and proactively.High sense of urgency.High level of responsibility.Focused in goals.Proactive and self-motivated.Excellent communications skills.Exceptional interpersonal skills.Additional Skills:Experience on PFD, PFMEA, and Control Plan.Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts.SAP & Windchill knowledge desirable.Experience in use of measurement tools (CMM, Optical Comparator, Microna).Drawing Interpretation.Experience in ISO 9001, TL 9000 is a plus.
