.This role is within CGI's Nogales Engineering group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Perform the assigned preventive maintenance to fixtures and complex test equipment, follow all established maintenance practices and fill work orders/checklist on the PM database., and (ii) Conduct assigned corrective work on test equipment production for complex work orders; Identify modifications and root-cause analysis from troubleshooting and report on work order labor times and outcomes.. Requires 2+ years of technical engineering experience and a minimum of a Technical or associate degree.- Perform the assigned preventive maintenance to fixtures and complex test equipment, follow all established maintenance practices and fill work orders/checklist on the PM database.- Conduct assigned corrective work on test equipment production for complex work orders; Identify modifications and root-cause analysis from troubleshooting and report on work order labor times and outcomes.- Assemble new test equipment hardware by reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings.- Locates sources of problems by observing electrical and mechanical devices in operation using precision measuring and testing instruments.- Repair mechanical, pneumatic, air compression, electrical system, and automation system issues as they arise.- Replace equipment in production with expired calibration and take them to the calibration laboratory.- Help on maintaining equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock regularly and reporting the inventory levels to management.- Utilizes computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to perform work (e.G. record work history, identify parts usage) in a timely and effective manner.- Protect CGI's reputation by keeping information confidential- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.Minimum Qualifications**Education/Certifications**:Technical or associate degree**Experience**:2+ years of technical engineering experience**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:- Basic knowledge measurement instruments use like multimeters, programable power supplies, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, frequency counters, and signal generators.- Basic understanding of electrical schematics as well as mechanical drawings.- Able to use electrical and mechanical tools, such screw drivers, wrenches, drill bits, and drill taper for hardware construction.- Basic knowledge in analog circuitry, OPAMs, filters, transistors, FETs, MOSFETs, passive components, and transformers.- Basic knowledge on microprocessors, memory mapping, and PLDs
