The Technician, Quality Assurance (Environmental and Sterilization) for Mammotome is responsible for coordinating sample collection, arranging processing and/or testing by vendors, analyzing process certificates and lab reports, and releasing internal documentation.
This position is part of Quality Assurance Engineering located in Tijuana, Baja California, México and will be on-site. At Mammotome, our passion is driving innovative technologies that create efficiencies, while never forgetting that at the heart of every breast cancer journey is a patient.
You will be a part of Quality Assurance Engineering and report to the Sterilization and Biocompatibility Manager responsible for coordinating monthly Environmental Monitoring duties and organizing related training activities. **In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:
- request device samples, coordinate shipments to sterilizer and/or external laboratories, arrange processing by vendors, analyze process certificates and lab reports, and release internal documentation
- conduct and coordinate monthly Environmental Monitoring activities, analyze routine and special monitoring results, evaluate trends and resolve incidents; complete final reports and maintain environmental monitoring information
- plan, promote, and organize training activities related to Good Manufacturing Practices, environmental control and sterilization matters to improve bio-contamination control.
**The essential requirements of the job include**:
- Minimum 1 year experience in Quality Department
- Truncated engineering degree or Technical Level (Can be a Productivity, Quality, Electronics or Electromechanical Technician)
- Proficient in English - Able to effectively communicate orally and in writing; able read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:
- Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 13485 quality systems, and FDA regulations
- writing routine reports and correspondence.
