Job Description The Engineering Center Americas was established to provide additional engineering capacity for the whole Area North America and Latin America. We support our country organizations in their day-to-day business of designing engineered formwork systems and solutions and are now expanding our center to recruit and train technicians who strive for an international career and are willing to relocate after graduating our trainee program
We have an exciting opportunity for confident and ambitious (ongoing) technicians with a positive attitude and a high level of social skills, to join our Project trainee Program.
As a Trainee, you will receive first class technical training and personal coaching to prepare yourself for a successful career as a Project Technician in our US and Canadian business operations.
The trainee program will take place in Mexico City, home of our Recruiting and Training Center. After successfully complete the comprehensive training in the design of Doka Formwork Systems (estimate duration is 1.5 years, relocation to new workplace may vary due to several reasons e.g. lack of performance or visa delays) you will relocate to the selected location Based on the strategic needs we will plan your relocation to the USA or Canada. Once you arrive to the location, you will start your job as Project Technician.
As a Trainee, your willingness to learn and develop is instrumental. You will report to your assigned Lead Trainer within the Recruiting & Training Center.
Qualifications Intermediate/advanced knowledge using AutoCAD 2D/3D – Use of REVIT/TEKLA is an advantage
3D Modeling (BIM).
Sound knowledge using typical MS Office tools.
Strong communication skills in Spanish & English.
JOB PROFILE SCHOOLING/LEVEL AND GRADE Bachelor´s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture, recently graduated or in the last semester.
