The Role: As an IT Technology Consultant, you will be responsible for:
Handling Incidents, Alerts, and Service RequestsDelivery and maintenance of complex SAP Landscapes by providing technical expertise and support.Planning, setup, implementation, and operation of SAP technologies achieving ambitious SLAsConceptual design, configuration, and administration of server landscapes with focus on Linux Operating systemsTroubleshooting and resolving any hardware, OS, App and DB related issues that impact the businessManaging daily operations ensuring high availabilityProper documentation, definition of technical operational concepts and guidelines for the implemented SAP landscapes and roll out of this information/knowledge to the rest of the teamCoordination with international teams in global projects / crisis handling / de-escalation initiativesWhile cross-trained in all topic areas (Basis/application, OS and Database), you'll specialize in one of these areas and own incidents and service requests closure end-to-endRole Requirements: BE / BTech / MCA from a reputable institute6 to 9 years of work experience in Linux administrationIT experience with network services like DNS, LDAP, Samba, sFTP, Sendmail, PostfixExperience on at least one of the public cloud service providers (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform)Understanding of NFS, BlockDevice, Raid conceptsScripting experience - Any of Shell, Perl, Python, Go, or similarWorking experience in Virtualization (XEN, VMware)Experience with OS monitoring, backup/restore, configuration automation technologies (Chef)Experience working in an international environment, being able to work effectively with international and virtual teamsCapable in technical documentation and creation of knowledge-based assets (KBAs)Ability to continuously acquire new knowledge proactively and independentlyAnalytical and solution-oriented thinkingBasic Knowledge in Network and StoragePreferred: Basic knowledge in one or more of the following products: Content Server, Convergent Charging, MDM, GK Software, OpenText, SAP Cloud Connector, TOMCAT, IIS, IDM, SCM Optimizer, SAP Mobile Platform, TREX, Business ConnectorWork experience as Technical SAP NetWeaver Consultant (ABAP and Java Basis Administration)Working knowledge in Business Object Products (BOBI, BODS etc)Working knowledge in UNIX/Linux environment, HANA DB and Sybase ASE databasesWhat you get from us: Success is what you make it.
