Our employees thrive here by living our values: we support each other as we strive to find a better way, we move fast with discipline and purpose, and we do the right thing always.Through a respectful, inclusive and collaborative culture, a career at Flex offers the opportunity to make a difference, invest in your career growth and join our purpose - to make great products that create value and improve people's lives.Job SummaryPrinciple Accountabilities:- Audits processes, tests and inspects products and/or develops, compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.- Working from engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, diagrams, written descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform complex engineering testing, checkout, First Article Inspection, root cause analysis, internal corrective actions and supplier correction actions.- Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.- Selects processes to be audited from primarily the manufacturing areas and checks for a variety of features, including ESD (electro-static discharge) and handling practices, documentation, training and process integrity.- Performance ESD measurements for workstations, ESD floor, garments, grounding, etc.- Support to others departments to improve ESD control.- Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.- Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards, programs or reports to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.- follow calibration program for ESD equipment's.- Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:- Communication skills- ESD reports, Documentation for validation Protocols- Demonstrates advanced technical skills- Demonstrates detailed functional knowledge and may lead process- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Scope / Impact:- May assist in developing goals/targets of line or department.Decision Making / Discretion:- May make decisions or recommendations within a team or line.
