We are looking for a talented **MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN LEVEL III** to join our specialized **MANUFACTURING** team for our **CUMMINS** company in **Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Health, Safety and Environment (HSE):
- Promptly identify and report any significant injury hazards.
- Strictly comply with HSE regulations and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Promote practices that minimize environmental impact and actively participate in HSE training.
- Quality:
- Perform and document maintenance according to specifications and procedures, contributing to the preventive maintenance system and performing quality inspections.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve processes and reduce costs.
- Delivery:
- Execute mechanical repairs and equipment maintenance with high proficiency, directing and supporting less experienced colleagues.
- Maintain organized work area and perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance.
- Identify problems in the manufacturing process and implement effective solutions.
- Teamwork:
- Facilitate effective communication with work team and other support groups.
- Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives and employee development.
**Qualifications**
- Create and manage improvement plans and weekend planning.
- Supervise and act as a resource for less experienced colleagues.
- Ensure preventive maintenance compliance and improve equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic follow-ups in the area, communicating with other shifts to ensure operational continuity and support to the manufacturing engineer.
**Responsibilities**
**Competencies**:
Proficiency in pneumatics, electronics and mechanical adjustment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.
- Experience with CAD software and failure analysis.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
- Ability to make informed decisions and manage conflict.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and safety practices.
- Ability to manage complexity and build trust in the team.
**Education, Licenses, Certifications**:
baccalaureate degree or certificate of completion of high school education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience complies with applicable regulations. This position may require licenses to comply with export controls or sanctions regulations.
**Experience**:
Significant mechanical maintenance experience and specialized skills acquired through education or relevant work experience.
