That's what #LifeAtCummins is all about.We are looking for a talented MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN LEVEL III to join our specialized MANUFACTURING team for our CUMMINS company in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua.Key Responsibilities:Health, Safety and Environment (HSE):Identify and report work-related hazards, injuries and illnesses.Comply with and promote safety and environmental standards.Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and actively participate in HSE training.Quality:Apply high standards in workmanship and perform quality inspections.Document and perform preventive, emergency and predictive maintenance.Provide feedback to improve the maintenance system and minimize costs.Delivery and Efficiency:Keep machinery running optimally and reduce downtime to less than 20 minutes.Coordinate and lead maintenance activities, including scheduling around production requirements.Identify and resolve manufacturing issues, and continuously improve processes while maintaining minimum 93% maintenance timelines.Teamwork:Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.Participate in the development of quality, safety and processes, and share technical knowledge with peers.Maintain an open attitude towards learning and supporting others.Qualifications:Improve MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) metrics.Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe work environment.Assist in the training and development of team members.Experience in the maintenance of Yaskawa, Fanuc and Cobots robots.Competencies:Ability to apply quality standards and perform preventive and predictive maintenance.Collaborative and communicative, with teamwork and leadership skills.Self-directed, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and procedures.Respect for inclusion and diversity in the work environment.Education, Licenses, Certifications:High school diploma or equivalent certificate.Experience:Significant maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience operating servo motors, pneumatic valves and Festo cylinders.Advanced knowledge of safety policies (LOTO), mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
