Job Summary
Principle Accountabilities:
- Performs set-up of processing equipment.
- Monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators.
- Processes test runs and prepares records (breakdown events, scrap, etc.
), charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
- Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
- Line change configuration.
- Performs corrective maintenance.
- Follows escalation procedures.
Education / Experience
Typically requires an Associate's Degree in related field, technical training or equivalent education and training.
Successful completion of company provided training may be required.
Typically requires 6+ years of related experience.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
As a highly skilled specialist, contributes to the development of concepts and techniques.
Completes complex tasks in creative and effective ways.
Scope / Impact
May direct other employees; in some sites, functions as a working supervisor with large scope of responsibility.
Assists in developing goals/targets of line or department Moderate impact.

Determines quality/testing methods/ procedures on new assignments.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
