.Eaton's is currently seeking a EHS Technician to work at our Juarez' plant..**What you'll do**:- Responsible for execution and / or provide support in the manufacturing ptrocess related to projects or tasks in order to be in compliance with EATON's EHS criteria, Legal requirements applicable to the operation, as well as monitoring and follow-up for implementation and sustainability, in order to guarantee safety and the environment compliance.- Participates in tasks required to keep the safety, health, and environmental programs in operation in accordance with legal requirements, regulations and corporate requirements. (Eg Safety, Commission, Lockout Tagout, Work at heights, Hot Work, Confined Spaces, Contractor Program, SEMARNAT, Municipal Water Office and MESH)- Keep calibrated all the measurement equipment related to EHS.- Performs data collection related with Safety and Environment.- Execute inspections and participates in EHS environment programs.- Participates in incident investigations for safety and environmental, including near misses and implementation of corrective actions.- Part of the daily tasks are related to verify compliance with machine guarding.- Supports ISO 14001, Clean industry, Zero to Landfill program and follow up on tasks related to MESH Assessments.- Participates on Corrective and preventive actions.- Provides support related to EHS projects- Coordinate all required EHS studies. (Eg, noise measurement, lighting measurement, pressure vessels etc.).- Maintain applicable EHS records up to date.- Maintain his work area clean and organized, as well as his areas of responsibility (Chemical/Haz waste rooms).- Supports EHS trainings as required.- Collaborates with the risk analysis of operations- Provides support over the risk assessment process.- It is responsible for surveillance of operational compliance related to federal, state and local regulations, safety policies and procedures.- Use his PPE according the activity to be carried out (where applicable)- Availability to provide support as required on weekendsLI-MG3**Qualifications**:University Carrer in Process; Preferably Industrial Engineering.Minimum 3 Years of experience as EHS Technician**Skills**:- "- Forklift driver- Technical knowledge Environmental, Safety and industrial hygiene.- Experience in to administrate hazardous waste warehouses, chemicals, and recycling areas.- Basic knowledge and experience responding to EHS audits (desirable)- Basic knowledge and experience attending ISO 14001, clean industry audits. (desirable)- Experience ensuring compliance of Health and Safety activities.- Ability to use Microsoft Office (word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.)- Ability to use testing and measurement equipment related to EHS.- Experience on contractor's management.- Wide knowledge related to Work in Heights, Coffined Spaces, Hot Work and Forklift management.""- Ability provide EHS trainings, as contractor management program, etc
