In BEPC we are looking for a Facilities Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of various facilities within our organization.
You will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, performing repairs, and addressing maintenance issues promptly to uphold safety, functionality, and aesthetics. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to creating a conducive and efficient work environment for employees and visitors.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Maintenance and Repairs**:
- Perform regular inspections of facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and maintenance issues.
- Execute repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance projects.
- **Safety and Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and address any hazards or risks promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and safety protocols.
- **Facilities Management**:
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies, tools, and equipment necessary for facility maintenance.
- Assist in the planning and execution of facility improvement projects.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
**Communication and Collaboration**:
- Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related needs and requests.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding maintenance schedules, disruptions, and resolutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to staff regarding facility-related issues.
**Qualifications**:.
- Proven experience as a Facilities Technician or similar role, demonstrating competence in maintenance tasks and repairs.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and working in various environmental conditions.
