**Telemarketing Specialist**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Perform online research to identify potential new mentors, particularly at schools, and add them to our database.
- Gather feedback from mentors, address any concerns or questions they may have, and ensure they feel valued and heard.
- Encourage mentors to nominate students into our program by highlighting its benefits and impact.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport over the phone.
- Experience in telemarketing or customer service roles is preferred but not required.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
**Additional Requirements**:
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies
- Relevant work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing
- Product knowledge
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Knowledge of call center telephony and technology
- Six months or more experience in a call center environment
- Customer service experience
- Good data entry/keyboard skills
- Knowledge of administration and clerical processes
- Familiar with office rules/office environment
- Advanced English
