A Switchboard Supervisor assists the Switchboard Manager with daily operations and ensures on-time and accurate handling of Guest and management messages, enquiries and emergencies.
What will I be doing?As a Switchboard Supervisor, you will assist the Switchboard Manager with daily operations and ensure on-time and accurate handling of Guest and management messages, enquiries and emergencies. A Switchboard Supervisor contributes to the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Assist the Switchboard Manager with the daily department operationsAchieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficient mannerAccept and deliver all messages correctly and promptly for both Guests and managementEnsure all wake up calls take place at the correct timeDemonstrate knowledge of all hotel facilities and services and use up-selling techniques to promote these offerings when appropriateHandle emergency calls immediately and relay comprehensive and accurate information, as requiredDemonstrate a high level of customer service at all timesComply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislationAttend appropriate training courses, when requiredDemonstrate knowledge of all hotel services, local attractions, and landmarks in the hotel vicinityFollow company brand standardsAssist other departments, as necessaryWhat are we looking for?Switchboard Supervisors serving Hilton brands are always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.
