This role involves preparing the purchase requisitions for the acquisition of equipment, materials, facilities, methods, inputs, and human resources for corresponding works and complementary works including safety and environmental protection devices, among others.Additionally, the project engineer evaluates, plans, develops, and implements engineering projects in the manufacturing areas to meet the requirements of the manufacturing processes. This includes:Evaluation of optionsGeneration of technical specifications and scope for the purchase of equipment and facilitiesDevelopment of drawings and installation arrangements until their approvalMonitoring of the transportation and importation of equipmentMechanical and electrical installationField supervision of the facilities to ensure compliance with the installation standards and procedures approved by the equipment manufacturerKnowledge of cleaning and sanitizing guidelines in the manufacturing industryGeneration of parameters and variables of acceptance and control of the processTraining of personnelAcceptance tests and complete validation and financial closure of the projectResponsibilities:The engineer must have the skills to analyze, model, and solve problems related to manufacturing from the perspective of ensuring the quality of products and processes.
