A Snapshot of Your DayTender Manager will support proposal activity for Grid Solutions and will strategize execution plan by ensuring strong costing and risks for the bids submitted. The role will require close coordination and teamwork with Business Development, Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management functions during the acquisition phase of assigned projects.
How You'll Make an ImpactDevelop sales proposals for Grid Solutions High Voltage Substation projects (Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) and Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS)) to resolve proposal feasibility and ensure competitiveness in the EPC market.Develop, edit, and write original proposal responses and other sales-related documents.Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of assigned industry structure, applications, terminology, trends, and issues.Discover and understand customers' primary business goals, operations, challenges, and requirements.Align and apply entire scope of Siemens Energy products, solutions, and services to meet the customers' business goals.Validate and endorse the technical aspects of the solutions offered in the bids.Work closely with supply chain to collaborate sub supplier quotes.Display a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems.Understand the Grid Solutions Utility market as it relates to customer requirements, opportunities, and competition.What You BringMinimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business.BS in Electrical Engineering preferred. Master's degree preferred.5 or more years of experience in a related field. Experience with Grid Solutions Utilities preferred.
