.Preproduction build support and issue resolutionSupport Continuous Process Improvement TeamTrack and respond to Change Requests & Decision NoticesAssist to resolve issues across PIT's and Assembly PlantsEngineering Work Order follow-upLaunch support in the plant, including material shortage and support spills/crisisProblem Resolution Tracking System/Issue Resolution prioritization and follow upSpecification interface to insure accuracy for pre production and productionsPlant Tryout and Production Trial Run supportValidation plan development property supportInvolvement with Technical solutions for current, new and major programsAssists in developing some engineering designs, including subsystemsAssists in implementing engineering changesSpecifies and balances system requirementsInvolvement with test/development programsCommunicates, coordinates and consults with engineering departments and customersStays abreast of new technology and competitive productsPerforms other related duties as assigned.**Additional Job Description****KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Process Engineering of the BEV3 Battery Test Equipment during the "Execution" Phase of the program.- Collaboration with the Operations Team on Program Deliverables- PFMEAs Review / Simulation Review / Control Plans / Launch Deliverables- Plant Equipment Install / Debug / Launch / Continuous Improvement- Actively participate in the SCRUM / Agile Process to accomplish daily tasks and meet the project deliverables.- Establishes equipment installation board and review weekly/daily with OEM and contractors- Develop and lead the PPAP review meetings in area of responsibility utilizing the PPAP checklist, capturing exceptions.- Lead the lessons learned gathering activity and feedback the information to the central process team for BOE/BOP updates- Closure of all ME open issues for Launch Deliverables**KEY QUALIFICATIONS**- Hands-on knowledge of Test Equipment and Manufacturing Processes- Understanding and experience with Data Acquisition Hardware [Bauer or Similar] [1+ Years Preferred]- Test Application and Programming Software Experience [Bauer PCS, Krause UPS32/64, LabVIEW, Other]- Program Execution Experience [Equipment Install through SORP and launch]- Experience in Managing OEMs [Program Management / OEM Timing / Open Issues]- Experience in Leading a project [Coordinating Resources / Updates to Leadership / Status Reporting / Tracking Timelines]- Experience in troubleshooting equipment [Problem Solving / Debug]- Understanding of Pneumatic, Mechanical, and Control Drawings.- Understanding / Application of Part Locating / Mechanics / Machine Design- Strong Analytical Practical Problem-Solving Skills [Formal Training / Practical Application]- Experience with PFMEAs / Simulation]- Ability and willingness to work Non-Standard Hours and Overtime [Early Morning, Late Evenings and some Weekends and Holidays]- Ability and willingness to travel every other week
