Omron is the leader in the field of industrial automation with operations in over 40 countries and 150 locations worldwide.For our Robots Software Development Teams, located in Guadalajara, Mexico, supporting our global teams, we are looking for a high-potential test automation engineer to build and support teams testing software and hardware platforms.You will be developing test automation platforms for robotics solutions in the field of industrial automation. Working on the DevSecOps team close to developers, you will be involved in supporting teams during all phases of development, from gathering requirements to releasing products.Main activities:Teamwork: Working in the team and encouraging each other towards our goals.Business Involvement: Analyzing requirements and getting them right, fast prototyping and supporting colleagues and customers with your expertise.Test Automation Processes: Creating the best solutions for the requirements.Testing and Reporting: Create automated quality testing and reporting processes.Kaizen: Looking constantly for personal and team improvement and helping to bring this team to a higher level.Monitor: Testing posture and compliance with secure SDLC processes.Establish a set of test suites (regression, integration, performance/load, security) for multiple applications that can run in a CI/CD environment, across various devices and environments.Work with the product teams to understand how new features should be tested, and then engage them in contributing to automated tests.Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.Representing Omron: Using Omron Guiding Principles through personal and business interactions with employees, customers, distributors, and colleagues in a professional, ethical, and socially responsible manner.Experience:3-5 years of experience in a similar position.3+ years of experience in test automation, with a variety of tools and automation platforms.Experience with Continuous Integration systems (Jenkins).Education:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or relevant experience.It will be a plus to have:Experience with the Scrum development process.Experience with real-time operating systems.Experience in motion and robotics.Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.Omron is an Equal Opportunity Employer
