.Flex, a Fortune global 500 company, is the diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products that improve the world.We believe in the power of diversity and inclusion and cultivate a workplace culture of belonging that views uniqueness as a competitive edge and builds a community that enables our people to push the limits of innovation to make great products that create value and improve people's lives.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Test DevelopeEngineer located in Juarez Sur.Reporting to the Director, Program Management, the Test Develope Engineer's role involves:What a typical day looks like:- Test Development Eng will support the interpretation on the test scripts and interface from the tester and eventually will support the Development of test at sub assembly level that help to improve the yield on Final Functional Testers, improving the yield, reducing repair and troubleshooting time.- Directs and/or coordinates operations engineering and/or technical personnel in design of testing and test control software and systems testing.- Directs and coordinates operations engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, telemeter and record test data.- Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.- Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.- Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.- Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on systems and software..- Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.- Coordinates all activities and all testers during each testing phase of a project or program.- Maintains awareness of testing alternatives at a level where they can be analyzed and the most effective testing strategy selected and agreed.- Assesses and advises on the practicality of testing process alternatives.- Identifies improvements to the process and assists in their implementation.The experience we're looking to add to our team:- Advanced English- Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience- Experience in HI Pot Test, burning test, ground bond and Check Sum.- Basic working experience in technical areas - programming, networking, Windows, or Linux system operation.- Advanced English language knowledge and very good MS Office skills.- Programming language knowledge - basic level; capacity to develop or modify simple programs
