You will also be responsible for completing all testing procedures, suggesting performance changes, and preparing performance reports for test manager.**Duties include**- Meeting with test managers to discuss software specifications and controls.- Designing manual and automated test procedures to evaluate each software product.- Write test software in C language for embedded systems.- Running test programs to ensure that testing protocols evaluate the software correctly.- Tweaking the software testing systems for maximum performance.- Finalizing and documenting testing procedures.- Completing final tests and creating test reports.- Presenting test reports to team management and suggesting software fixes.- Perform Bench level design validation tests.**Mandatory Skills**- BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering.- At least 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar position- SOLID knowledge in C programming.- SOLID knowledge/experience handling microcontrollers **_(NOT Arduino)_****Preferred Skills**- Work experience as a software test engineer.- Ability to collect data and compile test reports- Excellent software troubleshooting skills- Ability to design and write complex software testing procedures.- Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.- Be able to learn the details of specific features from documentation, and review with design engineers.- Self-motivated, dedicated, focused, and be able to meet tight schedules.- Creative, out-of-the-box thinking, ability to see the big picture of things, thinking beyond.**Working Time**: Full time**Business Unit**: VT Engineering**Department**: VT E CT ASW NA**Your Contact Partner**: TANIA ARACELI PALOSVitesco Technologies is a leading international developer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art powertrain technologies for sustainable mobility.
