Test EngineerPlans, conducts and documents appropriate tests on products and components in order to validate performance, functional characteristics, and reliability to design specifications and customer requirements. Key deliverables include but are not limited to test specifications, test reports, andD/PVP&R.Primarily Job Responsibilities- Verifies that testing is scheduled and performed on time per customer and internal requirements and provides test status reports to Lab Manager, Product Engineer, and/or Program Manager.- Interfaces with global Test Engineering teams and is the primary portal for testing information within the organization.- Issues reports on test results, makes recommendations to design engineers and maintains files on all test requests and results.- Determines required testing, test set up, and special fixture requirements.- Interact with test equipment and fixture suppliers during the development of test equipment from initial concept to final validation.- Take responsibility stated for this position in the procedures and work instructions of the Quality systems.- Follow safety requirements of his/her daily job.Competences- General competences: Detail oriented and organized, problem solving, scheduling and time management.- Bi-lingual English / Spanish.- Able and available for business travel to US, Japan, China, and Europe if necessary- Experience working at Laboratory.**Education**:Bachelor's of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or similar engineering science.Work Experience:Four to 8 years of experience in automotive test engineering of electric DC motors or similarly complex electro-mechanical products.**Salary**: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per monthWork Location: One location
