The Test Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our electronic products through the development and implementation of robust testing procedures and methodologies. The Test Engineer will lead process development and improvement initiatives in coordination with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Production Staff. The Test Engineer is responsible for the testing of electronic products in-house to ensure that when delivered, it meets customer functional and quality expectations. The Test Engineer will work closely with customer engineering to set up pass/fail limits and develop and implement the final test strategy. This role will establish and enhance manufacturing test processes and effective cost approaches to drive continuous improvements and higher quality/coverage. This position reports directly to the Engineering Manager, Juarez México site.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field completed.Minimum of 3 years of experience in test engineering within the electronics manufacturing industry, preferably in an EMS environment; hardware and software development experience required.Experience with Test Expert, Testway, and MES – Manufacturing Execution Systems preferred.Proficiency in programming languages such as LabVIEW/CVI/Teststand, Python, JTAG/BSCAN Methodology, or C++ and related development toolsets for developing automated test solutions.Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, including PCB assembly, soldering, and component-level testing.Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, and spectrum analyzers.Knowledge of industry standards and protocols relevant to electronic product testing, including ICT, FCT, and boundary scan.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.Excellent knowledge of process fixture design (solder pallets, work holders, etc.).Experience with common EMS Test Platforms including AOI, X-Ray, ICT, BSCAN, Flying Probe, and Functional Test.Expert failure analysis and troubleshooting skills.Strong understanding, verbal and written, of English and Spanish languages required.Experience in different testing platforms and vision systems for SMT and box build products, with experience in digital and analog devices, PLC programming, and industrial field networks (ControlNet, ProfiBus, etc.) as they relate to the testing methods.Testing process and documents elaboration.Experienced in test process development, product qualification, and APQ validation.Needs to have a valid VISA and Passport and be willing to travel to Toronto, Canada for training and product & process transferring to México.#J-18808-Ljbffr
