This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions segment; Connection Systems business unit located in ( Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua).
**Summary (About this Position)**:
This position is more related to the implementation of New technology in the vehicle system, following the design of the electronic structure closely and the Software developing. During the process design this position will be in charge of the specification of the equipment and tooling for production environment, supporting all the implementation of the production line and all the preproduction phases and release of the project to the plant.
**Your Role (i.e. Key Job Responsibilities)**:
- The Test Engineer will be in charge of the NPI and engineering changes for the current programs.
- Generate the test plan for the In Circuit Tester (ICT) and Functional Tester(EOL).
- Create reports of FPY, GR&R, capability/capacity studies for ICT and EOL.
- Have communication with suppliers for developing, implementation and analysis of the equipment.
- In charge to implement, debug and maintain the Test plan for each program/product.
- Support and training the maintenance technician on failure analysis and repair test fixtures.
- Support on warranty, customer complaints and major contributors of quality trackers.
- Improvements to reduce/avoid quality issues.
- Contribute on PFMEA, control plan and process flow.
- Generate the Statement of Work for test equipment and test fixture.
- Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements.
**Your Required Background (i.e. Must Haves)**:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- English mid-level o above.
- Proper written and oral communication in all levels.
- Problem solving skills.
- Knowledge on measuring equipment for analysis propose (voltmeter, electronic loads, oscilloscope, LCR, etc.).
- Knowledge on analogic and digital Electronic.
- Knowledge on LEAN and SIX SIGMA tools.
- Knowledge on In Circuit Test Equipment, Keysight and Teradyne.
- Knowledge on Visual Basic and LAB VIEW.
- Basics on USB, CAN and LIN communication protocols.
