Test Engineer

Business Unit: Sensors & Fluid Management
Job Description: Responsible for optimizing line efficiency by reducing downtime, ensuring PM and calibration procedures are followed, and eliminating quality problems in coordination with quality and manufacturing engineering.
Main Responsibilities: Program Management in transferences, NPI & Test equipment projects.Development and improvement programs in LABVIEW, C#, Visual Basic & Test stand.Update of obsolete test equipment.Improve test performance and efficiency through statistical process control (GR&R, CPK).Requirements & Skills: Bachelor engineering degree (Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic).4-6 years of experience creating test solutions for manufacturing.Skilled in software development mainly LabVIEW, C#, Visual Basic, Test stand.Good understanding of product traceability and how to implement in manufacturing.Well organized and documented project management skills.Fluent English (conversational).MS Office experience.Good understanding of statistical process controls (GR&R, CpK).Able to travel and manage programs in transferences and NPI, including financials.AMETEK, Inc. is a leading global provider of industrial technology solutions serving a diverse set of attractive niche markets with annual sales over $7.0 billion.
