**Description**Our Molex division is seeking an** Test Engineer** for the Guadalajara Sur, Mexico Location.**Molex LLC is a manufacturer of electronic, electrical, and fiber optic connectivity systems. Molex offers over 100,000 products across a variety of industries, including data communications, medical, industrial, automotive and consumer electronics.****What You Will Do In Your Role**:- Manage product testing timelines while working closely with Product Development Engineering and Program Management to understand customer commitments.- Work closely with Technicians to perform electrical, mechanical, and environmental stress testing. Test products include production, prototypes, and capacity expansion samples of electrical connectors and modules.- Work with product design and engineering teams by providing feedback on product electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance, including failure modes and design improvements.- Participate, as a team member, in new test system design, development, de-bugging, and use.- Able to conduct product testing independently when needed. Set up and operate standard and custom test equipment including electrical measurement devices. Systems include equipment such as microscopes, load frames, various electrical parameter measuring devices, environmental chambers, etc.- Complete product evaluation and performance analysis using test results. Utilizing standard departmental procedures, develops and modifies Best Practices to establish performance and reliability of the products being tested.- Prepares detailed test reports. Includes the purpose, a summary, conclusions, part numbers and component details of the product being tested, procedures and equipment used, etc.- Conducts standard failure analysis and provides detailed reports as needed.
