About Visteon
**Environmental Test Laboratory Supervisor**
- Follow and perform continuous improvement process for the procedures related to Validations, Maintenance, Calibration and Flow of Materials.
- Manage and maintain electronic system to have the document control and quality records accurate.
- Assure implementation of periodic evaluations at The Quality Management System to comply with IATF-16949 and ISO/IEC 17025.
- Support and participate in cross-functional team activities and/or projects related with the operation of the TO area, as required.
- Follow, perform, and implement maintenance and calibration procedures for equipment like Thermal Chambers, Testers, generators, Shakers, CMM, Audible Noise, etc.
- Provide necessary infrastructure for validations and flow of materials.
- Follow up all the activities to ensure they are delivered on time and with excellent quality reports from validations and analysis of products for PV and DV processes.
- Manage Test Operations area to cover expenses base on test revenue and budget.
- Develop and follow up projects to improve facilities and tooling for the operations.
- Maintain control of product and equipment inventories.
- Provide coaching to improve performance leadership with team members.
- Maintain control of hardware and software versions for testers, product/equipment inventories.
- Implement a feedback process to improve customer service
- Evaluate external options for validations to improve quality, cost, and time.
- Develop forecast of workload to prepare necessary infrastructure and resources.
- Develop quotations for potential validations and services to customers.
- Establish a strong communication link with other areas to improve validation processes.
- Review and sign testing reports.
- Development/support of new test procedures and methods to improve test accuracy and reduce costs.
- Direct the fabrication of special instrumentation or adapt existing testing facilities to accommodate new requirements
- Responsible for staff scheduling to include work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
