About Visteon
**Testing Laboratory - Quality**
Detailed description
- Assure implementation of periodic evaluations at the Quality Management System to comply with IATF 16949 and ISO/IEC 17025.
- Follow and perform continuous improvement process for the procedures related to Testing Operations (TO) like Validations, Maintenance, Calibration and Flow of Materials.
- Report periodically to staff the status of the TO area, Quality key events, metrics, and quality performance information.
- Support and participate in cross-functional team activities and/or projects related with the operation of the TO area, as required.
- Understand and use VLIMS as a tool to manage test operations.
- Implement Lean Projects to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Establish a strong communication link with PA and PD areas to improve validation processes.
- Follow Safety standards and requirements on area of responsibility.
- Maintain working area clean and in order to improve productivity.
- Provide coaching and training related to Lab processes and Quality requirements to improve performance with team members.
- Develop and implement maintenance and calibration procedures for equipment like thermal chambers, testers, generators, shakers, CMM, audible noise, etc.
- Provide necessary infrastructure and procedures for validations and lab activities.
- Manage and maintain electronic system to have the document control and quality records accurate.
- Develop and follow up projects to improve facilities and tooling for the operations.
- Evaluate external options for validations in compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 17025 Requirements.
- Management of procedures and documentation using VLIMS Administrative tools, updates and new releases.
- Review and analyze TR's to determine the quality and capability to perform the test.
- Perform internal audits to monitor system in the execution of testing validations and tests equipment calibration.
