.**Tasks**:Continental Engineering Services (CES) is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to develop, troubleshoot and debug test cases to validate new products for various in-vehicle automotive electronics from the Continental portfolio, such as:- Advanced Electronic Brake Systems: our engineers work with Continental's advances brake unit to maintain, and develop solutions that are benchmark in the industry such as Antilock braking, traction and stability control, regenerative braking to enhance electric and hybrid vehicles cruising range, supporting ADAS functions to brake autonomously the vehicle in emergency situations, etc.- Automated Driver Assistance Systems: with the help of our advanced environment sensors, lidars, cameras and radars to test assistance and automated driving functions such as blind spot detection, driver monitoring, emergency break assist, intelligent headlight assist, surround views, etc.- Active Damping Control Systems: CES engineers requires to work with state-of-the-art technologies with AUTOSAR architecture to solve the conflicts that exist between optimal riding comfort and agile handling testing software to adjust damping force on every wheel depending load and driving conditions.- Airbag Controllers and other safety solutions: our engineer also focus in occupant protections such airbag controller, adapting platform to customer needs and government regulations, the test of software with impressive quality is required in these products to make sure our software saves lives when accident occur.Core Responsibilities:- Perform System/Software tests.- Develop PC software in support of validating customer and internal requirements are met by Software development team. Includes all aspects of Software Validation Engineering, from understanding requirements to design, to implementation, troubleshooting, execution and reporting results of validation test cases.- Analyze software requirements to determine test procedure.- Development & maintenance of validation test cases to cover SW requirements- Debug & Problem solve for issues (determine if test script, test setup or SW under test is at fault)- Execute developed tests for each product release, compose test report, review with SW project manager and quality.- Issue failure reports when necessaryAdditional Responsibilities:- Ensure all aspects of production processes for software and calibration programming are properly verified and validated- Responsible for testing of new products, and changes to existing products- Occasionally provide technical leadership and mentor personnel within the department- Documentation of detail test plans, test design, analysis, computer modeling, prototype/production test scripts and specification releases- Participate on the automatic test case creation for general products- Participate on the manual test case creation for general products
