The Textile GM is responsible to a have total oversight and accountability for all Operational and Engineering support for all contracting and source vendors for Bennettsville Holding Company.
Be responsible for providing operational leadership and engineering support to maintain the highest levels of productivity, as well as ensuring compliance with all US and local regulations.
**Requirements**:Bachelor's degree in engineering or Business Administration from an accredited college/university.- Minimum of 10 years of experience in têxtile factory or in similar function.- Master's degree in business administrations preferred.- Experience working with Military, Federal Government contracts.- Experience in a medium to large sized manufacturing environment.Must be Fully BilingualEssential Responsabilities:Provide a vision and manage strategic planning for a BVP operations.
- Directs the entire manufacturing operation to ensure correct, accurate, and timely completion of production and delivery schedules.
- Manage manufacturing schedules and ensure that forecasts are aligned to meet corporate needs.
- Manage external manufacturing vendors - supplier selection, negotiate supplier agreements, quality agreements, and enforce military contractual commitments while ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance to corporate ethical practices.
- Develop business networking and manage federal and commercial relationships.
- Serve and primary government liaison relative to regulatory issues.
- Seek and design strategic partnership with key companies in the market.
- Manage monthly budget setting and goal development processes to drive P&L excellence and sales/profitability growth.
- Design, establish and maintain and organizational structure to effectively accomplish the department goals and objectives.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements in processes and systems to enhance team performance.
- Lead the implementation of projects designed to improve production and coordinate leaders of each production department to ensure smooth transitions as workflows and technologies change.
- Manage the inventory levels to ensure supply continuity at a mínimal cost.
- Plan, schedule, and review workload and manpower to ensure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis.
- Provide coaching and support to team members while ensuring a culture of accountability.
- Oversee resolution of complex technical issues.
- Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.
Ensures work environments are adequate and safe.
- Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships - Regularly communicate with all staff and lead meetings.
- Provide information to the Company' Executive Officer and Directors as required.Pay: From $1,139,227.24 per year
