The Plant Manager position directs and manages all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, engineering, and other production-related activities like quality and cutting to manufacture an array of apparel products.**Essential Responsabilities**:Direct and manage plant manufacturing operations and interacts, plans, and execute with supporting departments.Coordinate plant activities through planning with departmental managers to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.Develop and control profits, plans, and budget. Responsible for P & L.- Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, and manpower.- Ensures production reaches desired output and quality goals, while maximizing efficiency- Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.- Control and minimize labor overtime and repair expenses.- Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.- Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs.- Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel.- Provides direction, development, and leadership to production supervisor.- Maintain positive employee relations, open communications while resolving employee discipline or performance issues.- Ensure a safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, local state and federal requirements.- Track employee's absenteeism, performance, and timekeeping.- Coordinate and provide any training required to assigned team members.- Responsible for adherence to the policies, procedures, and instructions of the company quality systems.**Minimum Job requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field experience in a manufacturing environment.- Minimum 7-year experience or more in a similar plant management position.- Sewing industry experiencePay: From $1,139,227.24 per year
