RESPONSIBILITIES:Customer demand plan long termLong term production planningManage, train and coach SchedulersOrganize Continuous Improvement ActivitiesSchedule attainment of production planningInventory management: accuracy, right safety stock, risk managementMonitor special freight costs, root cause analyses, preventive actions to avoid reoccurrenceMonitor standardized work of schedulers (e.g., BCAQ usage, delivery performance)Communicate issues in planning, supply to involved departmentsCoordination of engineering changes, launches, phase out, spare partsFollow up customer's portals and requirementsParticipate in regional scheduler's networkEXPERIENCE:University Degree with a focus on production and logistics is desiredExperience in the automotive sector for at least 5 yearsWork experience in production planning is neededMinimum of 3 years work experience as Scheduler, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Forecast trends, and Safety Stock managementExperience with SAP CDP-MM-PPAdvanced English language skills are neededKnowledge of APICSWorking with customers and suppliers from outside the home countryKnowledge and utilization of statistical tools (SPC, Six Sigma, etc.), decision-making, and problem-solving tools (A3, 8Ds)Demand variances allowed under customer's contractAdvanced Excel skillsCOMPETENCIES:Priority SettingSelf-DevelopmentDrive for ResultsCustomer FocusedTime ManagementNegotiation SkillsConflict ManagementDealing with AmbiguityIntegrity and TrustOrganizational and Strategic AgilityPeer RelationshipsPlanningDevelopment of Direct ReportsBuilding Effective Teams
