Thai Restaurant Chef

Client prefers a Thai National, with experience in authentic Thai cuisine (opening restaurant experience is preferred) A superior resort located in Los Cabos, Mexico known for its ultra luxury services in hospitality and serving global cuisine seeks an experienced Thai Restaurant Chef for their new upscale restaurant with 150+ seats serving authentic Thai cuisine.
This Thai Chef will report to the Executive Chef and will be responsible for planning, organizing, and lead the opening of the restaurant, applying extensive knowledge of Thai cuisine to deliver an exceptional culinary experience to guests.
Client prefers single status and will provide flights, relocation, work permit, and other expat benefits.
Responsibilities:•Creation of the Thai restaurant's menu, ensuring authenticity and creativity•Conduct menu tastings to refine dishes and ensure quality•Manage budgets related to kitchen operations and food costs•Train kitchen staff, ensuring a skilled and cohesive team•Train kitchen staff on Thai culinary techniques and standards Requirements:•Native of Thailand with in-depth knowledge of Thai cuisine•Degree in Gastronomy or related field•Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position or related roles•Experience working in luxury hotels or high-end Thai restaurants preferred•Advanced proficiency in English•Strong organizational skills with attention to detail•Effective leadership abilities with a focus on team development•Adaptability to changing environments and demands•Results-driven mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service Compensation Package:•Gross Monthly Salary (Approximate): $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 (local Mexican currency), plus bonus and benefits.
