RESPONSABILITIES:
As an EHSS Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work in a culture of EHSS excellence driven by associate engagement. You will make an impact by:
- Adheres to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements
- Serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on EHSS matters related to associate safety, environmental protection, process safety and equipment safety, and security in a manufacturing environment.
- Collaborating with EHSS Manager and peers to implement site specific EHSS strategy including programs and initiatives to ensure compliance with EHSS policies and goals.
- Monitoring and evaluating the impact or new laws, regulations and industry standards with a focus on seamless implementation into the site EHSS program.
- Leading cross-functional teams to continuously achieve a work environment that is safe and environmentally friendly.
- Ensuring records, permits, and reports are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines by local, county, state and country agencies.
- Supporting the implementation of proactive solutions to address changes and mitigate identified threats, concerns and vulnerabilities. Collecting and maintaining data on losses or incidents and providing reports as needed
- Supporting the development of security procedures to ensure a consistent approach, which is in alignment with the objectives and policies of the company, to achieve a safe workplace for Integer associates and visitors.
- Supporting, along with logistics, in the CTPAT and AEO certification process.
- Developing and implementing training for new and existing Associates on company policies, procedures and governmental regulations.
- Leading the identification of hazardous workplace conditions and coordinates activities to ensure corrective and preventative actions are implemented.
- Responding to day-to-day Associate concerns in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Manages the investigation of more serious incidents. Documents findings, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Leading the performance of EHSS reviews, measures, audits, and reports assigned by the EHSS Manager focused on attaining and maintaining compliance with EHSS laws, regulations, company policies and best practices.
- Perform other functions as required.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Professional career related to the department or 3 or more years of experience.
- Demonstrated skills to influence others to engage in environmental, health, safety and security initiatives and philosophy.
- Understanding of security equipment (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection alarms and fire alarms), security software and hardware. - Knowledge in CTPAT and AEO.
- Ability to collaborate with other departments to meet common goals related to overall company strategy.
- A tool kit of leadership skills, including awareness of what the concept of Emotional Intelligence is and how you engrain the beliefs that support your strengths as a people-developer
- A well-developed skill set for planning, executing, and delivering projects and assignments on time and on budget.
- A positive, can-do attitude with an underlying belief that failure is not an option
