We are seeking a Fixed Assets Specialist to cover a temporary maternity leave for a period of 3 months.
The Fixed Assets Specialist will play a crucial role in managing, controlling, and accounting for Fixed Assets, Depreciation, Tooling, and Investment Projects in compliance with IFRS GAAP.
This position is integral in providing accurate financial information to internal and external stakeholders, enabling sound business decisions.
**Position Responsibilities**:
- Perform accurate accounting of fixed assets and tooling in adherence to guidelines, ensuring timely month-end closings.
- Coordinate physical inventory checks to safeguard fixed assets and maintain reliable records.
- Manage Capex Projects according to policies, ensuring proper resource control for the Asia region.
- Ensure timely billing of Tooling projects to customers, in alignment with project terms to meet cashflow forecasts.
- Administer Tooling projects, providing proof of expenses to external customers for approval and timely fund collection.
- Maintain control of Capex and Tooling projects within the approved budget set by Advisory Board.
- Provide necessary information to project stakeholders to support their analysis of fixed assets and projects.
- Assist in addressing internal and external audit requirements to facilitate the financial statement audit process.
**Qualifications**:
- 1-2 years of experience in Fixed Assets administration,
- Projects administration, and Accounting.Proficiency in the use of ERP systems (Preference for Oracle Fixed Assets and Projects module).
- Knowledge of accounting standards related to fixed assets, tooling, and physical control.
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel.
- English proficiency at 90%.
