**TMC **Transport and Trade Specialist** Matamoros**:
TMC-Transport and Trade Specialist take your next career step at **Lineage Power Matamoros**, assisting the business function as a Transport & Trade Specialist, you will ensure that goods are shipped while meeting quality, legal obligations related MX authorities and costs parameters. Reporting to the local TMC leader you will maintain and improve customs MX processes to meet legal requirements for products and material deliveries & shipped from **Matamoros **facility.
**Your responsibilities**
Assist the TMC leader mainly with IMMEX customs guidelines and standards reviewing business controls, analyses of operation to identify opportunities or lack information related customs regulations, as well formulating action plans establishing and updating key performance indicators, trade metrics, system monitoring, tracking, and responding to inquiries, requests, and other interactions with authorities.
Assist the business TMC personnel with activities including, but not limited to Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Non-Preferential Country of Origin determinations and marking Free Trade Agreement qualification analysis and documentation, Duty analyses, Supply Chain Security Programs (OEA and/or CTPAT) Developing and updating local work instructions and procedure.
Other TMC tasks and projects as assigned.
Your skills
- Extensive MX Customs Legal framework
- Knowledge Annex 22, 24 and 30
- Ensure compliance with all applicable customs laws.
- Knowledge SAP & ZOE (preferably)
- Advanced Excel Proficiency level
- Ability to communicate effectively interdepartmentally, and externally with vendors, freight companies, brokers, and others.
- Ability to respond effectively and in a timely manner to departmental needs, focusing on customer service.
- Ability to compile reports and compose general business correspondence.
- Knowledge IMMEX, CIVA & IEPS, PROSEC, OEA & C-TPAT Programs
- Coordinate broker activities for customs clearance
- Bachelor's degree business administration international trade law (preferably)
- Expertise in Machinery & Equipment control
- English intermediate
- With 5+ years of experience working in import/export department.
- Support company & gov audits
