Eaton's ESSG CPSD PDD Power Delivery Division division is currently seeking a Tool Room Supervisor.
**What you'll do**:
**Job summary**
Responsible for all aspects of tooling manufacturing, maintenance, development to ensure the production objectives are met to maximize productivity and maintain the highest levels of workmanship for all tool and die activities. Lead resources within the Tool room to ensure all tooling are produced efficiently, on time and in line with quality standards ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered. Manage the team on technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures whit also mentoring and leading the team. Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.
**Job responsibilities**
A. Oversee daily tooling support for production; plan die repairs/preventive maintenance.
B. Supervise, train and instruct tool & die repairs in safety, maintenance, and quality methods and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment.
C. Teach/Mentor tooling team on die functions and troubleshooting techniques.
D. Supervisor the daily activities of the tooling employees in a union environment.
E. Manages and coordinates human resources to achieve the Tooling Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance activities.
F. Manages External Tooling Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance activities with suppliers.
G. Leads Root cause analysis of recurring problems to reduce tooling failures and minimize costs.
H. Maintains tooling spare parts availability
I. Daily follow up to tool room indicators and creates action plans to achieve the goals.
J. Daily follow up to mold change program to achieve the goals."
**Qualifications**:
- Industrial, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar Bachelor's Degree.
- 3- 5 years experience minimum related manufacturing or engineering environment. Bilingual English/Spanish skills
- Tooling design experience, Problem Solving Methodologies (8-D, A3), Continuous improvement tools, quality system, Ability to analyze and work from blueprints and product drawings, knowledge in GD&T, welding and machining, TIG and MIG welding process, electrical knowledge, hydraulic, pneumatic, control, sensors, hot and cold runner, Blasting systems. EDM experience. CAD knowledge is a must (Solid works, AutoCAD, etc)
