Tooling Buyer

We are looking for a knowledgeable **Tooling** **Buyer** for our industry leading high-speed connector and cable systems site in **Zacoalco, Jalisco.

- This is a Monday - Friday and will have the flexibility to work one day from home according to results.

**What You Will Do In Your Role**
- Support the effective operation of the molding and tool departments by purchasing spare parts of molding molds and ensuring the correct amount of inventory in SAP.
- Develop and maintain strong and effective communication with local and foreign suppliers and mold makers to ensure receiving quotations and purchases on a timely manner.
- Evaluate and develop suppliers to improve the lead time, cost, structure and other KPIs.
- Champion the Principled Based Management (PBM) culture and philosophy to develop a strong purchasing capability.
**The Experience You Will Bring**

**Requirements**:

- Expertise in technical purchasing of molds and tooling spare parts
- Knowledge and negotiation with local and foreign suppliers
- Experience using an ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
to manage inventory and process POs (Purchase Orders)

**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Expertise visiting and evaluating suppliers
- Experience using SAP to manage inventory and process POs
- Ability to communicate fluently in English both written and spoken
- Bachelor's Degree
